A Vision Of Loveliness

The next episode of BBC Four’s The Read airs this Sunday April 2nd at 8pm, and will be available afterwards on iPlayer.

It’s a creative performance reading of Louise Levene’s A Vision of Loveliness, a darkly comic novel that evokes the grubby glamour of 1960s London. It is narrated by the BAFTA nominated Liv Hill and directed by Alice Johannessen.

Huge thanks to Rural Media for bringing me on to do the sound design and mix, my second of the season. The story is punctuated with aninmation sequences, which were lots of fun to work with.

It was a joy working with Alice and the rest of the team. Finally, shout out to Nick Muir who provided an amazing score which perfectly captures the spirit of the story.
