'Bulldog' wins Best North West Film award

Bulldog is a short film directed by Kieran Stringfellow of Manchester-based Block B Films. We started work on it a little before lockdown and it was completed while we were all shut inside.

The film has no dialogue so it presented an interesting and unusual challange, in that all of the meaning and emotion needed to be conveyed through the sound design and score. Fortunately there was brilliant material to work with, which helped no end in the task of servicing the sound.

It’s already been accepted to a couple of film festivals. We’re delighted to see it pick up the 'Best North West Film' award in the online Southport International Film Festival 2020.
