SYNOPSIS
Kurt’s sleep is getting violently interrupted by strange sounds of brass. He is skeptical when his partner Dilly claims she can’t hear them.
Following trips to the doctor, an audiologist and a neurologist, the truth is laid bare.
SOUND DESIGN
Being primarily to do with sound and our perception of it, this film was a sound designer’s dream in many ways. Kurt is frequently found in the strange sonic world between wakefulness and sleep, and we represented this by filtering the brass through effects to create a woozy, disorienting effect.
